Post 1701Demo2- "Cruiser Battle" Now Available!
I am pleased to present “Cruiser Battle”, a single player mod for the STV: Elite Force game.
Many thanks to SpaceStationK7 and it’s members for supporting and hosting this project!

You are Munro, sent to investigate a Constitution Class Starship detected in the Alien Void. On board you will find many races and factions trying to scavenge the ship for parts and/or take control of it. Explore the entire vessel by foot, or use the Turbolift System to access any area of the ship quickly.

This is the second demo of my USS Enterprise MOD, which is based mainly on the original Star Trek series. It features all of the decks and corridors on the ship, in both the Primary and Secondary Hulls (except for the dorsal section). Most of the locations from TOS are included, plus several areas never seen before.

Unzip “CruiserBattle.zip” and extract “zzzCruiserBattle.pk3” into your BaseEF directory, then start the SINGLE PLAYER version of STV:EF, and select NEW GAME to begin the adventure. Have fun!!

Arrrgh. I can't get it to run. I've tried following instructions but it doesn't work.

Ben - could you copy and paste your ef.config file here please so I can see how you are running your SP.

The mod works okay but I can't get your demo to workl because I'm not using the mod launcher.

BTW, is your PC fixed? Can you compile that test map I sent to you yet?

Toon, I have sent you my config. Let us know if you figure out what's going wrong.

I have had several people ask about the 8472 boss. The only hint I can give is 'search around in the main transporter room'. btw there is also a 'bonus' boss, but it will not spawn until the mission is completed and Enterprise is secured.

There are 3 alt-play modes available, most of the activation switches are hidden. Here's a brief list;
1) Remove all enemies from the ship. This can be activated at the beginning of the game, if you can uncover it's location. Activating any of the other modes will cancel this one out.
2) All enemies continue to spawn on all maps, even after the Leader is defeated. This is activated in the holodeck on Deck21, but does not become available until the mission is completed. However there is a secret why to make it active at any time...
3) Nightmare Mode - this mode will spawn 3-times as many enemies. This was basically a test, so only 2 of the 16 deckmaps are affected. This mode can only be found and activated after securing Enterprise, but requires mode #2 to be active as well or there wont be any bad guys. There is a super-secret way to get to Nightmare mode early in the game, but good luck finding that one.

Damn. This is proving to be more difficult than I thought.

Our mod works fine but your Cruiser Battle demo takes me back to the menu with a "Special Thanks to" notice.

I'll look into this.

Can't activate the turbolift at the beginning of the mod. My enter function does nada and haven't found a way to hoof it either. Thoughts?

I think I can help here...

You need to point the cursor at the comm panel in the turbolift, then you should be able to activate it with whatever key you use for the 'use' function.
