 TOS Remastered outside of US?
I haven´t really payed much attention to this section of K7, but in the months since the HD release of TOS Remastered I have been asking myself if and when this is going to air in Germany. Have they broadcasted it already in UK, or Netherlands maybe? And I´m not talking about pay-TV, I don´t have that stuff. Some info would be appreciated.

All I know is that the TOS-R HD-DVD set is available to buy. But I wouldn't recommend buying it.

Yes I read about the HD-DVDs in some other thread. Since I don´t have an HD-player I wouldn´t buy it anyway.

Re: TOS Remastered outside of US?
You can get it for under £20 now. There are regular DVDs on the B sides, so you don't have to own a now defunct HD-DVD player. http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=68599

That's a damn fine offer. Thanks for the link Toon.

Re: TOS Remastered outside of US?
It might be buying a spare and not opening it as HD-DVD supporters will run out of discs in the future.

Re: TOS Remastered outside of US?
Well, I actually like more to watch series on their free TV premiere rather than buying them on DVDs. Plus, I should probably wait for a BlueRay release (or is it out on that medium already?) as this is the upcoming standard (I guess). That requires a BlueRay player, of course, and I don´t think I can call one my own in the next one or two years...

Re: TOS Remastered outside of US?
Tos Remastered is now available on both Blue-ray and standard dvd. I have the standard dvd version of season one. It comes in a metal case with a plastic box inside and contains 8 discs

I saw the SD DVD set today and I wish they had used the metal case for the blu-ray set. Currently there is only Season 1 available on Blu.

Re: TOS Remastered outside of US?
Correct. Shame about the metal covers though.
I saw S2 and S3 for £22 a piece on DVD in Tooting today.
